far as the East is from the West

Hi friends, I wanted to tell you what exactly I will be doing this Fall.

In the beginning of September, I will fly to Northern California to begin a Discipleship Training School for 3 months called the ‘lecture phase’. During those 3 months, I will get to know the community around me, minister & pray for others, learn how to be a disciple for my Heavenly Father, and be the hands and feet of Jesus. In this 3 month period, I will have lectures to attend as well as community responsibilities to become more involved in the area where I live. During the first 3 months the staff and I will be praying about the country in which God is calling me to serve in. After I complete the lecture phase, I will go on to live in said country for 7-8 weeks (the outreach phase). These weeks, I will get the opportunity to love on the people of the country that I am in and become the literal hands and feet of Jesus. I will get to work with orphans, share the love of Jesus, work with different churches, love on the elderly, widows, and so much more!!

I can only begin imagine what my life will be like for the next 5 months in expanding my Heavenly Father’s kingdom. I am beyond excited for this opportunity and I cannot wait to share His good works.
