far as the East is from the West

As I sit in my family room on the last night in Illinois, I think about what lies ahead of me in the upcoming months. I cannot imagine the plans Father has for me. I will be stretched outside my comfort zone immediately! I have to say a ‘see ya later’ to my family and friends (which is harder than you think). I am overcome with sadness and nervousness but delight in the immense joy that Father has for me and my life. The way I will get to serve and love on others in the same way Father loves on me! Oh, I absolutely cannot wait to go.

This past week I have been able to enjoy the precious quality time with my youngest sisters. Whether it be jumping on the trampoline, going on walks, dropping them off at school, having ice cream dates, or putting them to bed- I love getting to talk & having dates with them. The sweet time that I got to spend with them each day while we lived together was something I will always cherish!!
