WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE

Please, I ask you to think differently, think outside of the box, be bold and do not be afraid to do the opposite of everyone else.

This was a big struggle for me as I was choosing the next step in my life. Do I go to college? Do I take a gap year? I was afraid to be different and unconventional. I wanted to follow the crowd but that wasn’t what God had planned for me!! The moment I surrendered all of my plans for college, was the moment Father God was able to guide me on what was next. To me it felt crazy that I would not be doing the traditional things after high school.

Instead of going with the crowd, I am able to do missions and grow in all that Father God has for me! I am surrounded by people who are all going after the same goal, “to know God and to make Him known”. I am able to do what I wanted to do in college – to heal people and love them!!! Truly what a time to be alive!!! I left the country for 2 months about a week ago (talk about insane!!!).

Each and everyday I simply fall more in love with Father God. Instead of trying to figure out how God is going to be involved in my life, he reveals how I am involved in His story. If you “Delight yourself in the Lord, he will give you the desires of your heart.” [Psalm 37:4]. He revealed to me my desire of serving others when I let Him lead me (PRAISE THE LAMB because I couldn’t do it on my own!!!!!). I still make my own decisions but I don’t rely on my own strength and knowledge of what I should do, I trust that Father has much bigger plans than I could even imagine and I follow him in the small things. By doing this, Father has continually asked me to trust him in whatever he has for me.

Do I trust God with my future and all that he has? Oh yes absolutely! I have seen God do the craziest things if you give him your time and future, He will knock your socks off. Do not be afraid to go against the grain!!
