limiting myself

This morning as I was packing my lunch for work, I threw in a bag of chocolate chip cookies.

I immediately got a little heated because of the thought that so many people think they have to only eat fruits & vegetables to live a healthy lifestyle. Or that if they eat those cookies then they will need to do an hour workout after to burn off the calories. LETS CHANGE THIS MINDSET!

What if we chose to eat our typical lunch & eat cookies & not feel guilty or shameful? I believe that our health is much more than the food we put into our body, it is your emotional health, spiritual health + physical health. If we are tearing ourselves down in our minds about the extra calories from eating a cookie then our body will react negatively. Your thoughts have a huge play in the role of health, positive thoughts encourage your body and bring energy while negative thoughts do the opposite.

Now does this mean you should eat the whole sheet of cookies and not eat fruits and vegetables? No. Your body knows what it needs to nourish itself, you would probably feel sick eating the whole sheet of cookies but a few won’t hurt.

Feed your body with food that makes you energized and feel like you are on top of your game, have a cookie or four. Listen to your body and don’t restrict yourself from living!!
